If you can't decide between a pellet grill and a griddle, Pit Boss has a solution. They released the 1020 DX combo grill exclusively with Lowe's that has both. The griddle is a 2-burner, while the pellet grill has connected tech for convenience.
Ooni also released a new product this week. Designed to make cooking pizza easier, they released a rotating pizza stone accessory for their Koda 2 gas oven
line. It's an accessory, so you can install it on your existing oven or package it with a new one.
Traeger released earnings this week and talked about where they're focused in 2026 and beyond. They are planning two new product releases in Q2 that will be priced below $1,000. They've had success under that key price through 2025. They also had some thoughts on the grill replacement cycle.
I wrote about it in the article on their earnings release, but Traeger
received another non-compliance notice from the stock exchange. Their shareholders voted for a reverse stock split to get the price back up above a dollar, it just needs board approval.
Finally, Charbroil is an entitlement sponsor for NASCAR at an upcoming race over Memorial Day Weekend. Another partnership announced was Pit Boss teamed-up with the UFC and will be the official grill of the UFC. Both companies have activations planned to go with their new
partnerships.
