Meat Church also has some new products in time for grilling season. The popular brand of rubs has expanded into other consumables. They've released charcoal briquets, lump charcoal, wood chips and wood chunks.
The Home Depot released earnings this week and expect 2026 to be much like 2025 with 0%-2% growth. They're seeing resilience with products over $1,000 and are seeing that the economy is impacting
middle and lower income households differently than those at the higher income bracket.
Lowe's also reported earnings this week, but they had basically the same takeaways, so there's no article. Similarly, Middleby reported earnings but their grill brands that they've sold 51% of are now part of discontinued operations and they didn't have any parting comments.
Weber has issued a recall on over 3.2 million grill brushes with metal wire bristles. The impacted
products have had bristles fall out with four people needing medical attention after ingesting the bristles. If you have a Weber grill brush, check to see if it's part of the recall and what you can do to get a new brush.
Finally, TIKI Brand has a neat new product to help fight mosquitoes now that the weather will start (hopefully) getting nicer. They released BiteFighter bulbs that will fit on many other string lights. That way you can transform your existing lights without
having to invest in brand new ones.
