To help aid with their growth strategy, BBQGuys refinanced their debt. They did it in conjunction with their acquisition of Mont Alpi last September. Their new credit facility gives them a new term loan and a $30 million credit revolver.
One of my favorite cookers that I've been using recently is the Oklahoma Joe's Bronco drum. The Bronco has been a favorite of many, and OKJ's came out with a new
version last year. I like how well it both smokes and grills, and it's easy to manage temperature.
Utah State Magazine had a write-up on the journey of alumnus Roger Dahle and Blackstone. They do a good job summarizing the
entrepreneur journey and touch on the merger with Weber. It's also nice that Blackstone works with the school on a case competition.
Earthcore Industries has acquired Firegear and they have become the exclusive North American distributor for Heatstrip. The acquisition gives Earthcore a broader product portfolio for expansion. The seller in the transaction was AMD Direct who plans to focus more on their core brands.
Finally, Traeger regained compliance with
the NYSE. Despite this, they plan to still move forward with a shareholder vote on a reverse stock split to boost the stock price.
