Pit Boss has been developing an exhaust vent that automatically regulates temperature on a smoker. The biggest surprise of their recent patent is it's designed for a Kamado grill. Pit Boss used to sell Kamados, but their main focus has always been with pellet grills. It will be interesting to see if this product makes it to market.
Ninja recently released a propane fire pit that also has a propane
heater. It's designed to give extra heat to bonfire participants. The heater and the flame can be regulated separately. I reviewed it and it delivered on its promise, while also being a nice looking fire pit.
Some other news that happened I put into a round-up style article. Ooni brought the Volt 2 to Australia, Solo Stove has sucessfully closed and rebranded Terraflame, and a couple other stories.
Finally, Orgill held their vendor conference and showed off
their new innovation center. At the conference they awarded recteq with being the Innovative Partner of the Year
