Current Backyard is releasing an even better electric grill. They already were a market leader with their Model G, now the Model G+ has a number improvements. It heats up faster, makes cleaning easier, and fixes a possible con with the Model G.
Yeti is continuing to expand into outdoor living and outdoor cooking with a new fire pit and grill kit that they just released. It's made from Corten steel, and
it has a traditional design, rather than opting for a smokeless configuration. It sets the market on price costing $1,500 with the grill.
There's another indoor smoker coming to the market. Similar to the GE Profile indoor smoker, the SmoqeX uses pellets to smoke meat and has an air filtration system to keep your kitchen from smelling like smoke. It also has other modes like air frying and searing.
Finally, consolidation is continuing in the hardware space.
Costello's Ace Hardware made their largest single acquisition picking up an additional 11 stores.
