BBQGuys has continued to add to their portfolio of owned brands. They acquired outdoor kitchen brand Mont Alpi to go with their existing brands Blaze and PCM. Mont Alpi helps round out their offerings with a full outdoor kitchen solution. BBQGuys also indicated that they plan to continue to grow through strategic M&A.
Solo Stove released the Summit 24, a smokeless fire pit with
improvements over the previous 2.0 model. Smokeless fire pits are core to the brand, so that’s a major innovation for the year. It has a built-in stand, better airflow, and an interesting feature called the Quick-Strike Cone that makes starting a fire much easier.
Ace Hardware has partnered with DoorDash to bring delivery services to their customers. It’s been rolled out to over 4,000 local stores nationwide. You can buy consumables, accessories, and even a small selection of
grills all through DoorDash.
