Another company that isn’t traditionally in the outdoor cooking space that’s threatening to take share is Frigidaire. They started coming after pizza ovens with their traditional oven that can heat to 750 degrees and now they’ve released an electric pizza oven. It’s a good looking oven that’s competitively spec’d for the price point.

Brands business, they acquired pellet grill brands like Pit Boss but also some unrelated companies. They’ve just divested one of those companies, Surelock, to invest more in their core business. Surelock, a brand focused on gun safes, was sold to a company with a very diverse product portfolio.
Royal Oak is growing their fire log production facility in Greenville, TX. They’re consolidating a line in Alabama into the facility and investing in it to handle the increased volume.
They’ve received a tax incentive from the city to accomplish the investment and consolidation.
Finally, Current pushed out a firmware update to their electric pizza oven to make it better. They added new cooking modes including baking at lower temperatures.
