As we head into peak grilling season, Weber has followed Traeger’s lead and has raised prices on many of their grills. They have a more diversified supply chain, and it looks like Weber took that into account with their increases. Some of the domestically produced grills like the Summit and certain Genesis models didn’t receive any increase at all.

After they just raised prices, Traeger is running a promotion that brought many of their grills back down to the old retail price. On the pellet grill side, only the high end models had some of the price increase stick. We’ll see if having a promotional price motivates buyers while Traeger effectively preserved their margin.

Another company that is dealing with tariff issues is Solo Stove. Their parent company reported earnings this week and said they’re working on diversifying their supply chain away from China. They mentioned evaluating some domestic production or nearshoring.

Solo Stove announced that they will have five new innovations this year. The first, which was released this week, is a cooler that’s also an air conditioner, with a misting function. This cooler is the result of intellectual property from their IcyBreeze acquisition previously.

I've been testing out the GMG Ledge Prime 2.0 pellet grill over the past few months and have really liked it.
