Traeger reported earnings this week for Q1. They had growth in grill revenue but continued to have trouble in accessories. Competition for MEATER wireless thermometers has been tough.

The conversation about their earnings was, of course, dominated by the subject of tariffs. They make 80% of their grills in China, so there definitely is exposure. They laid-out their strategy to manage the tariffs in the short-term and long-term.

The Current Backyard Model P electric pizza oven launched this week. I cooked a bunch of pizzas with it and I like how easy it is cook with. It provides even heat, so there's not rotating necessary. Plus, it has a digital display and smart tech to make it even easier.

Blackstone has a new innovation called Propane Chain. It's for some of their portable camping grills, and it lets you hook up multiple cooking devices with one propane tank. It's a neat idea to preserve valuable space when away from home.

Canadian retailer RONA has launched their own brand of private label outdoor cooking products. They branded them Laflamme & Co, and offer gas grills, griddles, and a few other products all at a value price.

Finally, Camp Chef, and some other Revelyst brands, have signed with the licensing agency Evolution USA. It was a direction they said they wanted to move in earlier this year when they hired a President of Licensing and Entertainment.
