Traeger partnered with Bud Light on a new marketing campaign this week. They created the Traegerator, which is a grill that has a built-in kegorator, and a speaker system. It's outfitted in Bud Light colors and the grill lid looks like a beer can.

The ad features NFL players George Kittle and Baker Mayfield. The grill isn't just for the ad either, they're running a sweepstakes to tailgate with the grill at an NFL game. It's a good partnership for Traeger because it gives them access to consumers they may not be reaching otherwise.

It's getting a little cooler, which means it's fire pit season. I reviewed a Breeo X Series smokeless fire pit and really liked the quality. They make them in the USA with thick steel, and it shows. It's a solid fire pit.

Academy Sports is continuing to grow their geography and their density. They're adding 11 new stores in Q3, and 20 - 25 in 2025. This latest vintage of stores have them going up even further north in Ohio.

There was a fun story in a local paper in Canada this week about a couple that started receiving a flood of service calls for Napoleon Grills. It turns out Google had their number as Napoleon's customer support number. The couple answered the calls and the questions the best they could. Napoleon quickly corrected the error when they found out, recognized the couple and gave them a new Prestige grill.

Gozney is replacing the pizza oven that started it all for them. They are going to release a new Dome and a Dome XL on October 15th. It will have all the latest innovations that Gozney has developed since its original release. Somewhat related, they've also discontinued the smaller Dome S1 that was recently released.

Finally, Ace Hardware has opened its 100th new store this year. They're on pace for 175 new stores on the year through conversions, acquisitions, and net new hardware stores.
