interesting discussion about new products, the Ace Hardware show, and Winger.
One of the new products I talked about on The BBQ Central Show is a new oven from Frigidaire. Home Depot and Lowe's both reported earnings this week. They
both had some of the best growth that they've had in years, including in the grill category. They're still struggling though with an uncertain consumer and a high rate environment.
Kingsford is partnering with HBCUs on the Pass The Tongs initiative. They’re having a series of events around Atlanta to highlight Black BBQ history and to inspire the next generation of grillers. A key partner in the initiative is Morehouse College.
Finally, Camp Chef has a new
marketing campaign through their partnership with Guy Fieri. It's centered around the new Gridiron griddle line that perfect for tailgating.
