Do-it-Best and True Value also had big news in grilling. They’ve partnered with Broil King and Napoleon to bring those brands to their stores. It allows the stores to follow the good, better, best philosophy in grilling with the new brands at the top end.
Made In, known for their cookware, released a grill this year that’s handcrafted in Fort Worth, TX. I reviewed it and liked how you can adjust the
height of the charcoal basket, and how the cooking grate can pivot out of the way. Plus, it just feels like a high quality grill.
Solo Stove is going to release two new innovations yet this year. If a recent patent is any indication, one might be an outdoor fireplace. Their design stays true to the brand with a smokeless design, and it has some features to make it easier to use.
Finally, YETI reported earnings, and they’re seeing success internationally.
They’re opening an innovation center in Thailand to compliment the one they have in Austin, TX. They also acquired the manufacturing assets of a company that makes shaker bottles.
