In other Kingsford news, they had disappointing sales through their quarter that ended in June. They didn't feel they reacted well to the changing consumer. They made some changes though, and saw positive trends on the 4th of July that they expect to continue.
Coyote Outdoor released the new Coyote Key Island, a six foot wide grill island. It's a great way to quickly have an outdoor kitchen
without all the expense, design, and other possible delays from a full kitchen build. It comes with their C-Series gas grill, which I really liked when I saw it at the HPBExpo.
As I mentioned in a previous week, executives at Solo Brands have been shedding their interim tags. Their CEO was named the permanent CEO and with that came a new comp package. His employment agreement was released in a filing, and his comp is inline with other industry CEOs. It also has a large
restricted stock component.
Finally, Ace Hardware opened a giant new distribution center. They built it in Kansas City to service their centrally based stores. It's 1.5 million square feet, which is significantly larger than their average DC.
