The Consumer Electronics Expo (CES) was this week in Las Vegas showcasing all the latest technology. That included some new outdoor cooking products that will be coming out soon.

Current Backyard launched their brand, and best in class Model G electric grill there last year. They were back this year with their new Model P indoor/outdoor electric pizza oven. It has some impressive specs and connected cooking, while still being the best priced oven.

AI-focused grill brand Brisk It was also at CES rolling out their new grill and new AI technology. Their new Zelo-450 pellet grill is only $399, but it features Vera 2.0, which is the name of their AI technology. The new version of Vera can do things like take a picture of ingredients in your shopping cart and create a recipe with them for you on the grill.

Ooni's 2023 financials were released, and while significantly down in revenue, their financial health improved. They sold down about half of their inventory and used it to paydown debt.

Napoleon launched their new Prestige and Rogue Series gas grills this week. The Phantom Prestige 500 is my favorite of the bunch, and it's a really great grill. New for this year it offers connected grilling and larger infrared burners. Plus, it has some beautiful cast stainless steel cooking grates.

Finally, the acquisition of Revelyst, Camp Chef's parent company, has been finalized. Investment firm Strategic Value Partners is the new owner. Now that the acquisition is settled, hopefully we'll see some new grills.
