Ooni released the new Karu 2 Pro multi-fuel pizza oven. The new oven has a large opening in the front for cooking more than just pizza. It also features Ooni Connect, their temperature hub that connects with a phone through Bluetooth.

Current Backyard came out with their Model G earlier this year, which is the most advanced electric grill on the market. I've been testing it since the winter and reviewed it. I really like how easy it is to use and get good results. I find myself cooking on it often because you just turn it on and it's ready to go with no hassle.

MEATER released an entry level temperature probe earlier this year, but not through their conventional channels. You won't find the MEATER SE on their website, it's sold exclusively through Amazon. They likely did this to preserve their premium pricing, while still broadening their customer base.

Solo Brands had more turnover in their executive ranks. Their Chief Operating Officer put in his resignation with a short notice. There's only one executive left from prior to their new CEO taking over.

Finally, more details have been revealed about HPBExpo25. The annual industry event from the HPBA is coming to New Orleans on March 26th-29th. It's a great place to see new products and connect with others in the barbecue industry.
