The biggest story this week is also probably the biggest story this year. In a major change to the grilling landscape, Weber and Blackstone have plans to combine into one company. They expect the deal to close in early 2025.

The new company will operate in both Utah and Illinois with Roger Dahle, founder of Blackstone, as the CEO of the combined entity. That's really exciting news because his entrepreneurial spirit will be a huge asset for the new company's future.

Charbroil released an updated version of their Big Easy Air Fryer. The Big Easy is a different kind of air fryer because it's propane powered and big enough to fit a whole turkey or a pork butt. It's a great way get more of that fried turkey taste without the oil or safety concerns of a deep fryer.

Grilla Grills parent company, American Outdoor Brands, is focused on continually releasing innovative new products, and keeping the product pipeline stocked. It was the major theme of their earnings call this week to keep driving consumer demand. They're seeing excitement for their products at retail, which is a new distribution channel for Grilla.

Nexgrill released a new 2-burner version of their Daytona griddle. It has sleek styling, and true to the Nexgrill brand, offers great value. Despite its low price, it comes with features like H-shaped burners and a hinged hard cover.

Finally, Tractor Supply unveiled their 2030 strategy this week. It includes expanding into new product lines and geographies. They plan to open 90 new stores in 2025 alone.
