Traeger reported earnings this week and saw growth in grill sales. They did it much like they did last quarter, by leaning into promotions. They noted seeing outperformance in sub-$1,000 grills.
Traeger CEO, Jeremy Andrus, also gave his thoughts on how we may be at the market bottom for grills. It's hard to call a bottom, but with Middleby's earnings in their grill division, I'd say there's
evidence to support that.
American-made grill brand Yoder Smokers released a built-in Santa Maria style grill. It's called the El Dorado and it has some nice features like thick steel and an air gap built around the fire chamber.
Canada’s largest dealer-owned and operated home improvement retailer, Home Hardware, announced a new CEO. The incoming CEO, Ian White, has a background in retail, most recently coming from the Parkland
Corporation.
Finally, Vista Outdoor has a vote coming up on November 25th to sell their two divisions off. They released earnings this week and at Revelyst, the divison where Camp Chef sits, there are some positive signs as they go through their cost cutting plan.
