Pitts & Spitts appears to have a new gas griddle coming out soon. They teased it on their Instagram, and it’s a great looking product. It appears to be made from stainless steel, so it will carry the superb quality that you’d expect from the brand. It’s also notable because it’s gas powered, while all their other current products are charcoal, wood, or pellet fueled.

TIKI Brand also teased a new product this week. We’ll get the full details on Monday, but it looks similar to a Chiminea outdoor fireplace. One neat addition though is it looks to have a heat defector on top, like a patio heater. I’m excited to see what they come up with.

Another company that has some new releases in the pipe is Grilla Grills. Their parent company reported earnings this week and said they’ll have “some very key innovative new products” coming out later this year. They’re also working to start retailing Grilla products. They want to partner with a retailer that will appropriately feature the new products they have on the way.

Finally, Academy Sports has been continuing to open stores at an impressive rate. They announced that they’re opening nine new stores this fall. The new stores help fill out the 19 states that they’re currently in.
