Blackstone has two new griddles for 2024 that feature their latest griddle plate, Omnivore. They have better heat distribution, better efficiency, and wind guards. The griddles also have a cool extending side shelf design that gives extra prep space.

While Blackstone is known for gas griddles, they may be developing a portable power station that's built into a cart. It's a great idea because battery weight is less of an obstacle since it's on wheels. The cart could be used for their existing electric griddles, or for a built-in electric griddle.

Gozney is coming out with two new pizza ovens at the beginning of March. Called Arc and Arc XL, they look like their popular Dome oven, but smaller. They have a lateral gas burner that causes the flame to arc from one side of the oven to the other. They'll be priced above their entry level Roccbox.

HALO, known for their innovative griddles, pizza ovens, and pellet grills, has been acquired by Worthington Enterprises, which makes a variety of consumer products. The co-founder of HALO is staying on after the acquisition as chief product development officer. Hopefully we'll continue to see great product design under their new owners.

Finally, Traeger released aluminum searing grates for their pellet grills this week. I've heard they're made by GrillGrate for Traeger, which has been a trusted brand for a long. They offer a great way to sear on a pellet grill.
