The Good Charcoal Company has partnered with the most well-known butcher, Pat LaFrieda. In a creative distribution model, restaurants will be able to buy The Good Charcoal with their meat order. It offers customers high quality charcoal, while giving The Good Charcoal more distribution beyond traditional retail.
Academy Sports reported earnings this week and updated their store expansion
strategy. The overall economics of their strategy are largely preserved, but they’re applying some lessons learned. They plan to focus more on smaller and midsized markets, open stores earlier in the year, and open stores in clusters.
A new portable pellet grill is coming out that is more compact without sacrificing grilling space. Called Fold ‘n’ Go, it has a unique design where the cook chamber can fold down when it’s not in use. The grill is battery operated and weighs less
than other portable pellet grills.
